为增进国际理解，促进跨文化教育，经中国翻译协会跨文化交流研究委员会（原中国跨文化交际学会）研究决定，“第十八届中国跨文化研究年会”将于2022年12月9-11日在广东珠海召开。
本届会议将以“讲好中国故事，促进文明互鉴”为主题，旨在为国内外从事跨文化研究的学者、外语教师和业界人士搭建一个交流分享的平台，促进跨学科对话和跨文化理解，推动跨文化学科的理论创新，为“一带一路”沿线国家的跨文化交流和构建人类命运共同体做出贡献。
本次会议由中国翻译协会跨文化交流研究委员会主办，北京理工大学珠海学院承办，外语教学与研究出版社、《跨文化研究论丛》协办。大会将邀请国内外跨文化研究领域的知名学者做主旨发言，并组织专题研讨、圆桌讨论、工作坊、海报发表等交流形式。会议语言为中文或英文。

The 18th Annual International Conference of the China Association for Intercultural Communication (CAFIC)
Call for Papers (No. 1)
Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai (BITZH) warmly invites participants for the 18th Annual International Conference of the China Association for Intercultural Communication (CAFIC) between December 9th and 11th, 2022 in Zhuhai, Guangdong. The conference will bring together scholars working in different strands of intercultural communication research from across China and abroad for three days of interdisciplinary exchange to promote international understanding.
The conference, sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and Intercultural Studies Forum, is hosted by CAFIC in partnership with BITZH. By creating opportunities for the exchange of ideas among teachers, scholars and practitioners, it aims to promote intercultural communication and research in the global context, improve intercultural education, and enhance international understanding. Keynote and featured speeches, invited colloquiums, roundtables, and poster presentations will be organized. The working languages of the conference are English and Chinese.
We solicit original scholarship that addresses the theme of “Tell Great Chinese Stories & Boost Mutual Learning between Civilizations”. Topics areas are broadly defined as, but not limited to, the following:
1. The Belt and Road Initiative from the perspective of intercultural studies

Abstract Submission
You are welcome to submit abstracts in English (300 words maximum) or in Chinese (500 words maximum) in the form of symposia, panels, individual papers, and poster presentations.
